When I Finally Stopped to Look Back
Sometimes we're so focused on the next goal that we forget how much God has already done. This week reminded me that progress isn't always found in big moments—it's built one prayer, one step, one act of faith, and one small victory at a time.

Progress over perfection. 💛
Sometimes we get so focused on how far we still have to go that we forget to celebrate how far we've already come.
This past week has been full of little victories that reminded me why I started creating in the first place.
✨ Published my first Pinterest pins for Elijah Embers Home.
✨ Began building a lifestyle brand around my designs instead of just products.
✨ Received an amazing real-world review of my citronella candle—beautiful packaging, wonderful fragrance, and best of all... "Not one bug!" 🦟🙌
✨ Started organizing and merchandising my flea market booth one display at a time.
✨ Continued creating new home décor concepts and collections during my creative downtime.
✨ And today marks Day 6 of keeping a promise to myself with a short workout before work each morning.
None of these things happened overnight.
They came from taking one small step after another.
I'm learning that momentum is built by showing up—even when progress feels small.
Here's to another week of creating beautiful spaces, growing Elijah Embers Home, and becoming a little better than I was yesterday. 💛
